I have mainly worked individually to make the video. There were parts where I had to work in a small team. For example, when recording the song, I invited a friend around to help play some parts of the song in and to help record it and mix it down. Also worked in a small team when filming, eg, having someone to operate the camera. While filming I kept to deadlines, and managed time well. We arrived at locations for filming, filmed, and left all within the times we planned.

Other music video's such as Cat Steven's video, is also simple. Both video's do not use many shots but try and make sure that the shots are entertaining and relevant. Both video's show some sort of performance as well as other aspects of life.

The client's plans asked for shots of performance as well as other things that are relevant to the video. For example I have old and new clocks, which as well as age also resemble time; and also children playing, and also including clips of the song being played and sang. The video also has a simple structure as in the beginning, the guitar being taken out of the case, and ending with clips of walking away.
Within the video I have used many techniques. These range from fading clips in and out as well as merging shots together. I have also used close ups and zoom, which all add effect and emphasis on the objects being filmed. Most of the clips used are relevant to the song, for example 'father and son', using an old grandfather clock and small digital clock.

For the video I got permission to film in the places, although this was mostly done in or around my house. I also had to get permission to film the people I used for the video. Without permission plus other factors I didn't include some footage.

Throughout the video I have tried where possible to make it relevant to the song. The song lyrics have a lot of imagery in them, so I have tried to include some of these in the video.
In the video there isn't very many changes of scenery. An original idea was to be playing and singing in a range of locations, although I found this wasn't practical.
The video had to be compressed for it to be uploaded on to the internet which therefore lost some of the quality of the picture and sound.
There are also a couple of places which are not perfectly in sync with the music.
